So -- I need some input. I am getting tired of reading about the same old stuff, and the same old people. Not that they are bad -- but I am looking to expand my horizons. So I am asking for input. Most of you know that I am a history lover -- and I am a little fussy about my fiction. So, who are some interesting people that I can read about. (Or time periods, places, or interesting events in history.) Let me know what you think, or what your suggestions might be. Or if you have a specific book that you would like to recommend, I would love to hear about it as well. I am kind of getting bored with my usual reading -- and I want to find something new.

Well, I wish I could help you, however, I bet that most of the books I could reccommend, you would have already read. Besides, I am always reading historical fiction myself. I have been thinking about getting into some Egyptian stuff though if I can find a book that doesn't delve into the bedrooms so much. Maybe you could just pick some random new era of history that you haven't read much on and read. You know like....the Salem witch trials. Or pick someone from history you haven't read about much...Winston Churchill or one of the more obscure presidents. I really like Truman. I found his autobiography fascinating. Good Luck!!
JOSE RIZAL---I LOVE learning about him and all the things he went through and his life. It's very facinating to me...I am probably a little biased though considereing he is the national hero of the Philippines. but his life is amazing.
P.S. I do have another book that I think you'll like. You can probably read it in an hour cause it's small...but interesting.
